After a fulfilling 37-year career as an engineer, manager, and executive; I became a Certified Personal Trainer to help others feel at home in a gym and get the most out of their workouts. It took me years to realize how important it is to workout properly. I'd love to help you get the most out of the time you spend in the gym, feel more at home in the gym, and achieve your best-ever fitness level. I’ve lived an active life, played soccer and Ultimate Frisbee for decades, became an avid cyclist later in life, and ate a standard low-fat diet until eventually becoming a vegan (out of necessity.) Like my father, I battle a tenacious chronic disease. Surviving two heart attacks, 9 stents, and a quadruple by-pass; I know first-hand what its like to battle Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) - the #1 Killer in the U.S. If you are battling this disease, I'd especially like to help you! Beyond my basic PT certification, I also have specialized certification from NASM in the area of Senior Fitness, and I'm currently studying for NASM's Corrective Exercise certification. These additional certifications are critical to best serve the unique needs of SWFL's residents and visitors. My passion is to help you exercise safely and effectively, make good lifestyle choices, and maintain a strong functionally-fit body at any age.
